Why ebay would think to give the buyers all this power over sellers is beyond me
The worst part about all of this is that most buyers dont care and dont even know the issues sellers have to deal with.
I have had buyers who did not even know that the feedback system had been changed and they could not get negatives anymore.
I have had buyers buy a dvd and complain it would not play in their cd player. Or how about the buyer who buys a movie on dvd and then leaves a negative to the seller about the movie that they did not like the movie itself. Boring, etc. That seller gets a negative because Paramount puts out a lousy movie?
This shows the intelligence level of the buyers on ebay. Why ebay would think to give the buyers all this power over sellers is beyond me.
The other thing I am concerned about is the change about buyer anonymity. Is it true that you will not even be able to know their id and be able to review the feedback that they leave etc. before the sale or auction ends? Is this really true? If that is the case then why have buyer feedback at all? It is of no use at this point whatsoever if I cant see what type feedback they leave for other sellers. It is bad enough that a problem buyer cant get a negative but this is just ridiculous.
